macbook pro had to be fixed mlb 8600 gt please help

i took it in the apple store and they sent it somewheres to be fix
my display would not show no video its free of charge but idk how long it will take them to fix it anyone have this problem the laptop was made around 07
does anyone know ??how long it will take them to send it back to me

It is a known defect and almost every Macbook Pro with that card will fail.

I have the 2.4 ghz Macbook Pro with the 8600m GT and it failed. Had to be replaced by Apple.

Took about a week, but I picked it up from the store.
