I have a MBP, and whenever I try to burn a dvd/cd, I get this error message from Toast. This also happens when I try to burn with disc utility. Any suggestions?

The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR
Sense Code = 0x03

thanks guys!

You can use this Google search to get tons more info on this, but it normally all boils down to the fact that your drive does not get along well with the brand/type blank media you are feeding it.

That same error is reported in different software as a "media error" or "medium error" commonly, and occasionally can be solved by using your existing blanks and slowing down the burn rate.

thanks for the info! Sounds like there are several issues with this. I also found that some people tried to clean the lens, and it worked after that? Other said it was just bad media. Maybe I will try my lens cleaner before I go buy something else. Thanks again!
