macbook pro hardware issue

Hey guys, I have the Macbook pro unibody 2009 model. Lately when I turn on and turn off the laptop it starts making unusual sounds. The sounds seem like a continous loop as though you are constantly inserting and ejecting a CD from the drive. How can I fix this issue?

Sounds like you need to take to an Apple store.

It sounds like your SuperDrive is failing. The noise you are hearing is more than likely coming from the feeder arm. They tend to make lots of noise when begining to fail.
