Macbook Pro headphone jack broken?

I've had my Macbook pro for about 6 months and i've noticed recently that the headphone jack doesn't seem to be be working.

When I plug in my headphones or speakers the sound will not come out of them, and just continue to play through the Macbooks built in speakers.

Can anyone out there please help me fix this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a physical problem with the connectors. Take it into an Apple Store to let them look at it.
