My Macbook pro is only a few weeks old, and being it is my first Mac, I wanted to know if anyone has had any issues with the hinges on it?

They seem to be a little loose, in which if I move the system, the screen will move at times. Is this normal? I am not sure how loose the hinges should be...

Thanks for the help!

What you mean is when you adjust the screen, it may rock back and forth a few times when you let go? If so, that's normal. If you mean after you adjust the screen it may drop into another position, then you should bring it into your Apple Store.

Hinges should be secure, certainly not loose to the point where if the system moves the screen rattles. Take it to Apple and have it replaced/repaired before it gets worse, as loose screws tend to over time.
