I currently own a 13" 2.3GHz Early 2011 MacBook Pro and I think I might have a hinge problem. So basically sometimes my macs screen would just fall down and sometimes make cracking noises. It is still under warranty so should i take it to apple to get looked it? It does not do it all the time but sometimes and it gets really annoying. Thanks

Do you have a hard cover on it like a Spek or Incase? If yes I would take it off and see if it continues. If not then I would take it into Apple. Either way sounds abnormal.

Take it in. I got my entire outer casing replaced.
