And yet -- nothing even in the technical overview about battery life. Something is very wrong.

As for MacBook Pro's battery life, it's due to it being tweaked. I forgot where I read this from, but I heard 5-7 hours (up from 4-5 hours estimate) is what new power optimization would bring.
