MacBook Pro i7 and LaCie 324 not working?

I just got the MacBook Pro i7 and connected my LaCie 324 via an apple DVI to miniport adaptor, and it seems there's something wrong with how the display is, well, displaying. Even after color calibration with Eye One, the contrast and color tones seem off. I haven't been using it this way long enough this way to get a distinct pattern but wanted to check if others have. I've been using the LaCie 324 for two years on previous MacBooks.
