Hi,
My macbook pro (15ich 2.2ghz 3gb ram) has been having problems for about a month. If the lid is closed it wont wake from sleep. About 1/2 the time its starting up after being shut down, the sleep light will come on and after around 5 seconds i will hear it shut down again. Around 1/2 the time it does startup it displays white text on a black background and then startup normally (ill attack a picture of this). When i took it to the apple store they could only replicated the problem by using a macbook power adapter other than that it worked just fine. It seems to happen in cycles, the only way ive been able to get it to work is to either take the ram out and put it back in, plug the power adapter directly into the wall (not into a power strip), and taking the battery out. Does any one know what is happening to my computer.
