Hello

Just got a Macbook Pro 2.0. Looking to increase the memory to 2gb. Where is the best place to buy a single 1gb chip. How much is the lowest one can be found...

I checked ebay its about $130 there. Crucial is $200...

You should be able to find a number of threads on this, I did before i bought and found that everyone loved OWC. I ordered a 1GB stick from them and it has worked flawlessly in my MacBook Pro. Its also very cheap, $115.

URL for OWC: http://www.macsales.com/

Hmm, i just went to that site and they show $129 for 1GB of MacBook Pro memory. Make sure you are getting the right speed and compatible memory.

My favorite in the USA is Data Memory Systems Currently US$119

More importantly, DMS have stock; For example Kingston has gone on allocation on their MacBook Pro 1 gb part, so delivery times will be long.

I keep giving that link out to everyone as they have great service.
Is there a Stickie for ram links or could there be one put up since a search isn't helping much. Maybe the top five places to get ram? I don't know just asking, I have my two GB sticks and I'm happy, thanks CanadaRam :D
