:rolleyes:Hi everyone,

I just bought a Macbook pro :D Im very happy with it!
Is there anyone who could help me find a very good insurance company .

The most important happenings that i would like to be insured for would be:
if I spill my drink, if it falls into the water,
If I accidentally drop it.
Theft
Weather damage in a tropical climat
And I noticed that the computer can get very worm. If there would be any damage from this, I would like it to be insured.

I hope you can help me with the protection of the investment I saved up for.

Please reply if you have ideas.

Greetings:cool:

Contact the company through which you have your homeowner's/renter's insurance and see if you can take out a "personal items policy" on the MacBook. It covers the things you mention, and it should cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $30-$50/year, depending on the original cost of the computer.

I would look into Squaretrade for accidental damage protection and extended warranty and see what theft and weather protection come with your homeowners or renters insurance. I would also recommend the AppleCare extended warranty. They will not cover accidental damage (or theft or weather damage), but they will repair your machine if anything goes wrong with everyday use.
