Macbook Pro Intel Core Duo memory question

Hey guys, I have a Core Duo 2.0Ghz Macbook Pro. It was the first run of macbook pros that used the intel processor. I have it running 2GB DDR2-667 Memory. Will this machine support faster DDR2 Ram such as 800mhz or faster? And would it be worth upgrading it to faster ram?

You're already maxed out for that hardware. Installing faster RAM doesn't mean the chipset and bus will support the higher speed in this case.

I know im maxed out......thats what im asking, will faster ram be supported in that model macbook pro.....

No. Even if it did, the difference would be so small, it would not be worth it.
