Macbook Pro internet is unreliable

So yestery day I was downloading some TV show on itunes it would take about 7 minutes for a 30 minute show. Now today it has taken over 80+ minutes and not even half way. Videos on YouTube are buffering extremely slow.

This is not a one time thing it seems to have been happening quite often this past 2 weeks; one day it is speedy, next it is slow as a snail.

Twice in a row I brought in a PC laptop to use instead (right next to early 2011 MBP) and the internet on the mac started working.. go figure?

So does anyone know why my internet is so god damn finnicky? (excuse my language )

And I my laptop is always in the spot so it is not a question of being "out of range"...

I have also changed the thing to 4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2

I never have that problem I would get it checked out in case the network/wireless card is damaged!
