I'm visiting a relative out in the country and there is only 3G internet service through a USB dongle on their Mac Pro. I'm trying to use Internet Sharing with a MacBook Pro connected to the Mac Pro with the 3G. Internet Sharing is turned on in the System Preference Sharing area. When checking the Network status, it shows there is a connection and I have a valid IP address with Subnet Mask and Router. It tries to connect to websites i.e. Google, but the page won't load. I've tried using both FireWire and an Ethernet network connections. Both show there is a connection but neither will load any pages.
Any ideas on how to get pages to load on my MBP from the internet connection on the Mac Pro with the 3G? Thanks for your help.
