I have a mid-2010 MacBook Pro 13".

Out of the blue, my computer start going reaaaallyyy slow. I tried restarted, and it hasn't booted since. I can hear the boot-sound, and then it just freezes at the screen where I get the Apple log on a gray background.

I tried:

- Resetting SMC
- Booting from Mac OS X / utilities DVD
- Reinstalling MacOS X (couldn't install because of unknown error)
- Disk Utilty checked my drive, says everything is OK
- Power on with D-key pressed to check hardware. Everything OK.

What can I do ? Did my hard disk died ? I don't have any AppleCare :(. I have a 1GB USB disk, can I put a bootable Chrome OS or some Linux stuff on it so I can at least boot up and browse the web ?
