I use a MBP'09 13" 2.26 GHz and NVIDIA Geforce 9400M graphics card, purchased approx 2 months ago. The screen brightness has gone dim, of late. So to speak, the brightness which i used to get at say Level 3 or 4 earlier, now needs maximum brightness setting, and the screen is hardly visible at Level 3/4. To make matters worse, because the brightness level has to be set at maximum value, the battery back up is screwed. I tried display calibration couple of times, in Expert as well as Simple mode, but to no avail. What's freaking me out is some probable itch with the hardware ('backlit display'
) or Graphics Card, which, i'd say is too soon to break down. Any advices?
