Macbook Pro just froze

Hey guys, i just wanted to get some feedback from u all. Out of nowhere, my Macbook Pro 15 i7 just froze. I don't know what the cause could have been...all I was doing was listening to music and Safari was opened, along with Messenger.
i've had it for about 9 days now and this is the first time this has happened. Any thoughts?

It froze for about 5 mins and when I realised that nothing was changing, i held down the power button and shut it down and turned it back on.

the worst is when it freezes and you hold down the power button and it doesn't even turn off i've had that happen once to me so far.

That's what I was afraid was going to happen. Did u find out what was the purpose of ur freeze?

I got it for the first time last night as well :/
