Macbook Pro keeps freezing on El Capitan

2013 Macbook Pro seems to be freezing daily. I can move the cursor around, but nothing is responsive, and it remains that way until I hard reset. I can be doing incredibly mundane tasks like typing in notes when it happens.

Is this happening for anyone else?
