My MacBook Pro keeps losing the WiFi connection. When this happens I try to reconnect to the WiFi network only for it to say "The WiFi Network could not be joined" and asks for me to move closer to the WiFi network but my computer is just 5-6 feet from each router.
Even more strange at other times I can be connected to my WiFi network but there is no internet. I know the issue is not the router since I can use my iMac, iPad, and iPhone all on the WiFi network and have internet. I have two WiFi networks, one the Comcast cable modem and the other an Airport Extreme Base Station. I have the same issue with both WiFi networks.
Often the only way to fix it is to restart my computer. Often one restart fixes it but once had to restart it 5 times for the WiFi to work. Other times I leave my computer and come back an hour later and without even restarting it the Wifi then works.
I'm running the newest version of macOS, 10.14.1. This issue started not long after I updated to 10.14 but am not sure if it was connected with the update or not. I put up with it for awhile figuring the 10.14.1 update may fix it but it has not.
Any idea how I can resolve this?
