Has anyone figured out a fix for this yet? The remedy of removing that kext worked but it later started causing the laptop to overheat. Please someone tell me Apple has put out a fix or someone has figured out a work around? I'm currently overseas and not near an Apple store, so I can't send it in. I use this laptop for work and this issue is severely impacting it in a negative way.

MacBook Pro kernel_task uses all CPU when charger is connected.

Yep, tried that. No luck.
This issue is really baffling. Running on battery it's fine but as soon as the charger is connected it goes nuts.
