Macbook Pro Keyboard Backlight is dim.

Hey all,

I turned on my macbook pro today and my blackout shades were down so the backlight of the keyboard came on but it is acting odd. The backlight is dim. But only in some places. It's brightest in the middle but practically off on the right side. Very strange.

What could have caused this?
