Macbook Pro keyboard in the dishwasher

Long story short: I puked all over my laptop... keyboard stopped working (some keys). I took the whole laptop apart and have the keyboard. I don't want to wait 3 weeks for a new keyboard to be shipped from Hong Kong.

Would washing out the keyboard in water or isopropyl alcohol do the trick?

Don't use plain water, Distilled water should be ok, but alcohol (the right type ) would be better since it evaporates.

Yeah use alcohol.

And I would be more worried about the logic board than your keyboard...

So I guess you guys know what caused me to puke on my mac the funny thing is that I don't even remember puking on it! hahaha it was one of those nights!

I would suggest getting a keyboard cover as well. It will protect everything except your trackpad and display.
