Hey guys,

first of all I live in Germany and I want to order a MacBook Pro at the Apple's internet site.
But I have one important question:
You can choose between two keyboard "layouts" (hope it's the right word)...
One is the US keyboard and the other is Englisch International
Could someone tell me please where the difference ist? I don't get it at all.
Might be very kind from you.

Cheers.

Sorry they are so big, thats how Apple made them. I realize they are not MBP keyboards, but I cannot find anything so far.

English International:

United States:

Except for words like - delete, command, control, tab, etc.. being written out instead of a pic, I see no difference.

What's with the button under escape?
Guess I'll take the take the US keyboard seems more friendly to me.
Thank you very much guys!

You'll notice the enter/return keys are different size and shape, and keys ARE different - for instance (|,\)is above the return key in US layout and the (`,~) key is next to Z in the English version

In other words you have more keys to press.

There you go.. Here's the two different keyboards which are actually for the MBP! Notice the difference?

I purchased my MBP from a store, not as a BTO and they wouldn't change the layout, so i purchased one from ebay and changed it myself.

Top : English ISO keyboard (aka English international) with a tiny, tiny return key.
Bottom : English US Keyboard (US Standard)

NB New Penryn keyboard doesn't have the 'number pad' or the 'numlock key' as shown on those keyboards.
