Macbook Pro (late 2008) LinkSpeed Question

Just a quick question:

I'm going to upgrade the hard disk with a WD Scorpio Black.

I was wondering whether it is being supported by the MBP (late 2008) since the Negotiable Link Speed is only 1.5GB/s whereas the Scorpio Black is 3GB/s.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
