Hi

I have recently got a new MacBook Pro and I want to upgrade the RAM in it.
However, through researching I cannot find what the maximum RAM is for my model?
Some say it's 8GB and others say it can support 16GB...

What is the case?

Thanks

32GB wow! Can't wait for that

If you have the late 2011 2.2GHz model, 32GB will not work. The maximum is 16GB.

Now if you have the Early 2011 2.2GHz model, 32GB will work.

This is because these two are not the same processors.

Oh, I like the sound of this since I just bought the early 11 2.2 version. :)

Oh really! That sucks... But hey I'm sure the quad core processor makes up for it anyways
Also what's the likelihood of 16gb sticks appearing? I expect they will change again come the next next gen
