My MacBook Pro late 2011 has been having issues lately when I try to shut it down, it stops, then immediately starts up again. It has happened many many times now. I contacted Apple and they ran diagnostics and looked at it and they said they found nthing wrong with it (Lololol). Please help ASAP.

Much easier to try a software install than have it serviced. If it is hardware Apple would just swap the machine.

It's possible to install OSX on an 16G or larger SDHC card or external drive. It'll take awhile but it's a easy way to see if it's software or hardware that way.
