Hi I have an old Macbook pro late 2011, 17" with a 820 2914b logic board. Recently my macbook stopped booting mac OS and would only work once in a while. After a week or so it stopped posting and no chime was produced except a black screen and fans spinning fast.

I opened the back to inspect and started measuring voltages on R7402 pin 2 where I accidentally shorted pin 1 of R7975 using the volt meter and at that point the fans stopped spinning. Now the mac wont turn on. The mag safe charger light is on and turns green. The CPU heat sink does get warm after a minute.

I want to trouble shoot and figure out whats wrong.

There is no voltage on CPUVCCIOS0_PGOOD.

Any help would be appreciated.
