I just updated to Mojave from High Sierra on my Late 2013 Macbook Pro 15" (only iGPU). I have two 27" dell 1440p monitors attached and 99% of the time the MacBook is in clamshell mode.

In High Sierra, I would wake the MacBook from sleep using a bluetooth keyboard and it would take about half a second. Now in Mojave, it seems to be taking 100+ seconds.

What I have found so far:

Once awake, the MacBook will wake instantly, like it used to in HS, as long as the MacBook has not been asleep for more than hour. After an hour, and it takes 100+ seconds.

I believe unplugging one screen seems to help, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

What I have tried so far:

I have switched to brand new monitor cables (mini DisplayPort -> DisplayPort) and have reset NVRAM and SMC multiple times. It doesn't seem to have any effect.

I've been trying to look through console for any clues as to why it might be taking so long with Mojave installed, this is what I get from the powemanagment logs:

'21:00:43.156992 powerd WakeTime: 103.918 sec'

After that, attempts are 0.6 seconds.

I have no external drives connected, the only other thing connected is an ethernet cable.
I've played around with as many sleep settings as I can (Hard drive sleep / hibernate etc) and I haven't found anything that improves the wake time yet.

I am using a hengedock horizontal docking station - I have a feeling this is going to be the root cause of the issue though I have no idea why it would break with Mojave. At this stage, I'm hoping it something software related. But my testing so far out of the dock seems to suggest nothing is wrong undocked - given the time requirement to test these, is there any place to find out what might be causing the issue?

Can anyone help / point me in any direction that I might be able to find out what is taking it so long to wake? I'm starting to run out of ideas / things to try. I'm quite close to giving up and ordering a MM, but I'm scared I might get the same issue, so it would be great to at least figure out the cause.

Same here. It takes longer than it used to on my 11,3.

See the log. Highlights include "ERROR -- 3 [Error encountered on wake from sleep] -- TEST FAILED".

I think you're having the same problem.
