MacBook Pro LCD Replacement help

I have opened my MacBook Pro - 17" Intel Core Duo 2.16GHZ (MB092LL/A) and have located the make & model number of the existing LCD screen, which is: LG PHILIPS LP171WE2 (TL)(A1)

An Apple repair shop close to me has a LG PHILIPS LP171WE2 (TL)(A2) in stock, but I didn't know whether the two screens are compatible (they don't know?!) - would anyone know?? Is there such a huge difference in the (A1) vs (A2)???

Am posting here in hopes that someone does...

If you had an A1, get the A1. Simple as that. The A2 may work, but if it doesn't, youre going to be kicking yourself in the rear.
