Macbook Pro Lettering/Beisel Light

Well okay this is a dumb question, but I thought I would ask.

The "Macbook Pro" Lettering on the LCD Beisel, does it illuminate on the 13" Macbook Pro's? For some reason I thought it did, however I can't find a setting for it.. only the backlit keyboard appears to be illuminated.. Any idea anyone?

But srsly, it would be distracting and would just get in the way. No need for it. The Apple logo faces rearward and thus does not effect the user.

But alas i shall have to get one of those clip on reading lights and point it to the
desired location.
