I had this issue since about a month ago, really came out of nowhere. I took it to the Apple store, and they fixed it by re-aligning the lid by fixing something near the hinges. Seems like this is slowly appearing again. The issue is coming back. What would be the options that Apple would do? Fix it again, or swap the device? This is a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina 13", I got it around Black Friday last year.

Take it back.

(This usually happens due to abuse from opening/closing it too hard on one side in particular. Try to open/close it from the middle.)

I'll give it a shot again, thanks.

I'm not sure if i've been closing it or opening it too hard. I've always been pretty careful with my devices.

It's not about doing it to hard mate. It's just if you favour one corner when opening it puts pressure on the two hinges and they pull to one side as there is a couple mm adjustment. Always use the middle notch to open.

Ah ok, that might actually be right. I tend to use the right side to close it more often.
