When I am in a quiet room, I notice a light humming coming from my macbook pro and also a light vibration on the right side. Is this just the hd spinning or something to be concerned about? it is 2 weeks old.

Heya, pretty sure the HD lives on the left- do you have anything in the optical drive when this is happening? Also is there any pattern to the vibration like intensive use &c.?
With the light humming I probably wouldn't be too concerned about it (I hear it from the RH side right now and guess its just the fan purring). Hope you're enjoying life with your new mac btw
