Hello guys, i recently got a problem with my macbook pro.

i dropepd an half glass of water on the keyboard and now all works propperly but the keyboard seems crazy, and if i touch it also the trackpad go mad.

if i plugin an external USB everything works again, trackpad included.

warranty is over so i'm thinking what to do... i wont pay 700 eur for a new logic board from apple, so is possibile to fix? its maybe only the keyboard gone and not the logic controller on the logc board???

and... its anyway possible to change the apple logic board with a non-apple board with intel processor etc...??

Which MacBook Pro rev is it? You might be able to just replace the top case for it. If you have a very trusting friend with the same MacBook Pro you could do a transplant to see if a new top case will work :p

Ah, well with the older MacBook Pros (pre-unibody) the top case could be taken off with a few screws and you could replace the trackpad/keyboard very easily. The top case would be the whole top assembly of the computer, the keyboard, trackpad, palm rests, etc.
