I have old MacBook Pro "15 Early 2008. After frequent transportation with him, it happened. But this thing went down very slowly. At first the black line was at the top of the logo. How to fix it?

Ive see a previous thread on here before with the same issue. You could open up the LCD assembly and realign the misaligned piece.

Aww that kind of makes me sad, like a deteriorating Mac on a dump.

There's a little guide plate behind that logo within the LCD display. You can open it up and glue it back in place (It's been 10 years after all!).

There's plenty of guides on this, those earlier models had quite a bit of space and you could do stuff like put in an LCD and have it display images. Or change the colour/pattern etc.

Or you could just leave it as a war wound, it's getting old after all, kind of adds to the character.

A 2008 MacBook?
Is THE FRONT of the display still working as it should?

IF the display (the part that you look at while using it) is ok, I'd forget about it.
Not worth the trouble of "fixing".

Open it up, and you may BREAK something.

If it still works fine otherwise, just use it and be happy.
