I have a MacBook Pro 17" i5 about 3 months old.

I have an issue whereby the machine sometimes logs me out of my current session when the screen goes to sleep. All the open apps close and I have to open them again when I log in.

The setting in System prefs > Energy Saver indicate that the machine should never sleep on power being plugged in (it is plugged in).

I was wondering if this was a problem that has been solved before. This issue is new to me and does has not really been happening until the last couple of days.

Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks.

Would you mind sharing your solution? I'm having the same issue. I had HMA VPN installed and cleaned that out this morning as I found this could be the issue in another forum.

?

Sorry, only noticed your reply this morning.

I actually can't remember what I did. Might have been HMA VPN actually since I used to use that, too. Now no problems anyway, with 10.9. Using Tunnelblick for VPN instead. :)

Regards
