Macbook Pro looses wifi at 12 feet

Hello, I hope you can help with my query.

My Macbook Pro looses it's connection to my wifi and router at about 12 feet. All my other devices (2 iPhones and iMac) work fine at a distance, it's just the laptop that looses signal. the signal doesn't have to travel through walls either.

Does anyone know why this happens? I read somewhere that the bluetooth-wifi cable inside the laptop could need replacing.

Check with another router, so you can rule out the router as the issue.
