Been on the fence about upgrading my MacBook Air 2020 i5 to the new MacBook Air M1 as saw some deals during Black Friday. Ultimately decided not to do it and so thought I'd stick with the i5.
This was until I came across an open box, MacBook Pro M1 2020 for £875. The laptop is brand new and appears only the box was opened. Seemed like a bargain so decided to go for it.
Can't get over the speed of this thing. Loved the Air but the M1 really is streets above. Also great being able to use it without the MacBook overheating which was a frequent issue with the i5 Air.
I no longer own a PC so the MacBook is my main computer nowadays which I use plugged into a monitor so was happy to spend a bit more. Probably wouldn't have gone for the full RRP price on one but at this it was difficult to say no!
Only thing I'm not sure about is the toolbar but sure I will get used to it when using open.
