MacBook Pro M1 and LG 32UL950

I have the LG connected with Thunderbolt, however each time I walk away for the laptop goes to "sleep" mode it seems to lose connection to my monitor. I would have to unplug and re-plug thunderbolt. Am I doing something wrong?

Interested in the answer as well. But thunderbolt connection with 4K @ 60hz works?

I've just got a 27UL850 and that doesn't lose connection. They make a big thing re using their supplied cable - could the cable be an issue ?
