Hi all,
I have gone to install the new 26.1 update on my MacBook Pro M2 Apple Silicon last night, but after it restarted, the machine crashed and will no longer start, I might even end up ringing through to technical support

I have read that you can use another Mac to try and recover it with the DFU function, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Thanks

Hi, thank you for the above, I have done this and the install of software has worked in terms of reviving the MacBook, but I am a little skeptical to install 26.1.

Do you advise I hold off or, do I try and install this again?

I don't use Tahoe. Maybe someone else with the same MacBook Pro M2 can confirm a successful installation of 26.1.
