Why is my hard drive space filled with 100% other?

I KNOW I have other stuff that are videos and audios but what's with the 100% other?

I did a "Repair Disk" in the utility, didn't resolved the problem.

I'm guessing the computer's reading my video's as "others"?

Anyway to fix this?

I would suggest getting the demo version of Daisy Disk or similar, that will tell you where your large amounts of files are. Using the system info tool for that is really pretty useless, as you've discovered.

As previous person said, spotlight rebuild...

Or just do manual get info on your directories to isolate what's taking up your room.

Mine has like 100 gigs of other, don't care though since I know where and what is taking it up on my unit,
