I'm looking to purchase a 1-2GB stick of memory for my macbook pro core 2 duo 2.16ghz and make a total of 2-3gb.

What brand would you recommend I buy from newegg or is there somewhere else I should buy from?

Most posters here seem to go with newegg, datamem, edge, or OWC. I've had personal (and great) experiences with datamem and edge.
