So I was working on my Macbook when it froze suddenly; I tried everything and nothing worked so I tuned it off (long press On/Off). I tried to start it again, and I got the flashing folder wih question mark. So I thought I'll do the internet recovery, am running Lion, and when i did that the disk utility did not find my Hard drive, there was only a 1.4gb disk image or something. I tried again, nothing... I even tried to resetore from time machine but again, no drive was found to restore the data to!! So I bought a new hard drive thinking that the old one is dead, I installed it and went to internet recovery and the problem is still the same!! Still not finding my Hard Drive?! What should I do? Any help, please?

In my experience with an issue like this, either the hard drive controller on your logic board failed, or the connection between the controller and the drive has a problem. Either way I think you're going to want to take it in.
