Hi there!

I finally got my macbook pro non retina. I absolutely love it! Still learning the operating system though but it's cool.

I got bootcamp installed with windows 7 ultimate N. Big problem though - no drivers. Where do I get the drivers? The macbook gets really hot without the drivers.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

You have to get them while running the Boot camp Assistant.

Bootcamp Drivers download link:

Run bootcamp assistant, one of the options is to get the drivers. If you say 'save to external HD" or something similar, you can choose a local drive where to save it.

No problems at all after the second attempt to download the drivers, it worked. I'm not sure if I should keep this MBP or go for the rMBP as I really would prefer the 2 external monitors to connect to.

I had issues downloading the drivers for my new MBP as well...took about 6-7 times for it to finally download correctly.

Oh sorry this thread dissappeared and I couldn't find it again.

Yes I figured it out. I didn't realize apple puts the drivers on the thumb drive when you create you windows 7 install from the ISO. You have to go to the thumb drive under bootcamp drivers and click setup. I thought it slipstreamed the drivers in the OS install. So when I saw there were no drivers I was puzzled.

The only problem now is the light sensor driver doesn't work. Still looking into it whenever windows installs the 78 updates.

Any luck in locating these Prag? Or anyone? Cant see them on the Apple web site?
