Hello got a nice pimped out 2014 macbook pro but the usb-s seems to not be functioning very well. https://www.dropbox.com/s/436jq5hx7vl1b3w/IMG_8559.MOV?dl=0 so far have used an external cooling fan and a mouse usb but it disturbs me that they are very wobbly and one is kind of a crooked. Is there a way to test them and see if they are fully functional? Thanks 😊

My observation only, but...

USBc ports/plugs don't seem nearly as "robust" as were the older-style USBa type.

They can "get wobbly" if some care isn't exercised when devices are plugged in.

I'm wondering if this is the reason the original owner put that one up for sale...

Not sure if you missed something, but those are USB-A ports in question on the OP's MacBook Pro (2014, 15" Retina.)

One of the USB A ports is on an I/O board, which can be replaced relatively easily. The other side is on the logic board and is not as easily replaceable.

OOps, you're right, screensavers!
Could it be the cables the OP is using??
