I'm preparing for upgrading to the 2017 MBP whenever it comes out. I've noticed that there aren't any Apple-made dongles for USB-C to Mini DisplayPort (the Thunderbolt adapter doesn't work for that, from what I've read). I have two monitors that I regularly plug into - the office and home - using Mini DisplayPort.

Has anyone found a workable solution for this?

I've been using a USB-C to mDP cable since release with no issue.

There's also a full dongle thread where other users have came up with a solution for just about every situation.

No official  solution, but I've been using one that's been solid for me with my 27" LED Cinema Display:

There are a number of solutions out there though, that just happens to be the one I picked up. It matches my silver MacBook Pro.
