I can get my hands on a new sealed MBP 13" 2.56ghz, but it is the 'old' one. I can get it for 2/3rd of the price of a new MBP 13" 2.4ghz. They both have 4GB of memory, but the old 2.56ghz model has 320GB hard disk (versus 250GB).

So the older 2.56ghz is faster than the newer 2.4ghz, right ? Or does it have less cache or something else that i'm missing ? I know the newer ones have a better graphics chip but I really don't mind that.

So guys, any thoughts/advice is welcome :).

Get the old one. It has faster CPU but slower GPU and not as good battery but for 33% discount, it's a lot better deal

Hi,

I am considering the same thing if I can get a good deal on the 2.53, right now my university actually is selling the 2.53 for more than the 2.4. Is the one you are getting a private sale or can you list the merchant?

Thanks.
