hello i will be getting a second machine, and i just cant decide if i should go with the older 17 inch 2.6ghz high res or the new 15 inch 2.53ghz it seem i can buy the machines for around the same price since prices have dropped on the older 17inch mbp. i will be using the machine for music production and video editing. i wonder if the ram speed on the new mbp is that much sweeter then then older one's. i also noticed that the new mbp have 2 graphic cards to improve video editing. do any of you mac freaks
out there have any insight on what machine would be best for my value. i know i can get a killer deal on a older 17 inch macbook. i just bought my mom a 17 inch 2.5ghz mbp from best buy on clearance for 1199!!! it was the display model and had a few scuffs of course.
