So my MacBook pro is the non-touchbar 13 from 2016. I got an email from Apple in 2018 saying the laptops with my serial number should have their battery replaced free of charge. So I went and did that in October 2018. Yesterday, April 2019, was the first time since that repair that I ever let the power drain down to 0%. After this, I can't get it to start. I tried holding down all the button recommendations for 10 seconds, etc. I brought it in to an Apple store genius bar. The laptop won't turn on even from removing the battery and having it plugged in. They're saying the logic board has a problem and can't initiate startup. So am I going to have to pay to fix it? Or would Apple cover their hardware malfunction if it's determined somehow that it was a manufacturing error? I never spilled anything on it, kept it in great shape, etc. My suspicion is that the repair for the battery on Octover 2018 may have something to do with this. Any help is appreciated, thank you
