My MacBook Pro retina (A1425) wont charge and dies whenever the charger is removed. I had the exact same problem on an older model and then I just reset the SMC and everything was fine.
But when i try to reset it now it wont help. However my fans don't rev up the way it did before, and in several youtube videos I found, the only thing that happens is that the power light shifts from orange to green for like 1s. So is the SMC really reset?
Does anyone know if there's some way of making sure the SMC really resets?
