macbook pro not charging :(

someone help, got a macbook pro 2008 version and no problem till easter holiday when i was in middle of eating my easter egg when i saw it wasnt charging, i played around with different angles of the cable but no orange light light, so i took the battery out and put it back in and then it started. This morning I was in the middle of watching some porn when i saw the orange light wasnt showing, its not charging, i then took the battery out and put it back in and now its working.

Faulty battery or faulty charger plug?

just phoned apple, they said its the charger, but it cost £65 on their website and i need one badly but cant afford it, look:

Sounds about right. Please don't be tempted to buy a third party one, you'll regret it.

It is cheaper, because such adapter use lesser materials and components. Some fare very well with such cheap adapters, some do more damage.

Have you tried walking into an Apple Store and getting a replacement?
